Manifolds
The Engine Masters Competition has been the perfect platform for the development of quality Street & Strip combinations and parts for the serious engine builder and or street car enthusiast.
Working closely with some of the worlds finest engine builders has enabled us to design and manufacture manifolds that have the best horsepower and torque curves on the market today.
This has been achieved through countless hours of testing and modifying a variety of different manifolds, which has helped us come up with a formula for optimising cross sectional area - velocity, and fuel atomisation characteristics.
Testimony to the effectiveness of our manifolds is Jon Kaase's win at the 2004 Engine Masters Competition. After testing many manifolds Jon used our 4500 218cc manifold to produce the astounding numbers of 620ft/lb and 700hp from his pump gas 410cube Cleveland.
Even more impressive was the fact that the manifold was run as cast and with no internal hand grinding whatsoever!
Manifolds are available to suit our 185cc and 218cc Cleveland cylinder heads on 9.2"deck Cleveland blocks, 9.5" Deck 351 Windsor blocks ( 9.5" deck Windsor conversions, will require the use of our CHI water crossover - bypass housing) and we also have a 8.2" deck 302 Windsor manifold to suit our 185cc cylinder heads on 302 Windsor blocks.
A new addition to the 3V range will be our new dual plane manifold to suit the 3V 225cc cylinder heads.
This manifold has the external appearance of a factory cast iron dual plane manifold, with a totally redesigned runner system. In an independent test it produced no less than 70ft/lb more torque than an Edelbrock Performer at 2250 rpm !!!
We also have on the way (available Dec 2005) our new 351W manifold to suit Windsor style cylinder heads on a 9.5"deck Windsor block. This manifold will be available to suit both 4500 Dominator and 4150 Holley carburettors.
All our inlet manifolds are made from the same A356 aluminium as our cylinder heads, but unlike other manufacturers, our manifolds are heat treated to T-6 for unsurpassed durability.
