Having released the 258cc as cast cylinder head over 2 years ago, we found almost all our customers wanted this cylinder head in a CNC ported version. In response to this we no longer offer the 258cc as cast cylinder head and have replaced this with the new 3V 260cc cylinder head, in a CNC ported version only.

The all new 3V 260cc Race Cylinder Head is the ultimate race Cleveland cylinder head for your Cleveland - Small block Ford. With revised intake and exhaust ports these heads are designed for the most serious of engine builders seeking a maximum effort from their Cleveland and or Small Block Ford.

The new intake port flows over 370cfm CNC ported with great emphasis being given to the midrange, where at .400" it flows over 270cfm with a whopping 315cfm at .500" lift all whilst retaining all the standard Cleveland valve train.

The intake port is .060" taller than our 225cc runner and has a minimum cross sectional area of just 2.8".

The exhaust port is in the same location as our 3V 225cc head (.400" raised over standard Cleveland exhaust ports). This head utilizes 2.190" intake valves and 1.650" exhaust valves.

Description:

This complete Competition cylinder head package comes with Ferrea 6000 series swirl polished stainless steel valves with hard chromed stems. We use Isky Chrome- Molly - 7 Degree Retainers, Isky Machined Valve Locks (not the cheaper stamped steel versions), and Isky 8005A Triple Competition valve springs. This package is ideal for large solid cams of up to .625" lift (be sure to subtract valve lash from your camshaft specs when determining net valve lift), that are raced on a regular basis. Heads are finished of with matching Isky hardened spring pad locators to positively locate the valve spring and Viton valve stem seals for unsurpassed oil control.

This package is ideal for large roller cams of up to .800" valve lift , that are drag - road raced on a regular basis. Heads are finished of with matching Manley hardened spring pad locators to positively locate the valve spring and Viton valve stem seals for unsurpassed oil control.
