351 Windsor Commander 3.0
After many years in the remote manifold wilderness, Windsor owners have a true choice in intake manifolds for their 351 to 400+ cubic inch engines. The new Commander 3.0 Windsor Intake Manifold caters for 351 Windsor Engines with 9.5" deck heights (but can be machined to 9.2" if necessary, as the flanges are designed to accommodate this) using Windsor style cylinder heads with "factory" port locations, as well as raised runner Windsor heads.
Best of all the 3.0" Commander Windsor intake manifolds are available with 4150 Holley, as well as 4500 Dominator flanges. That means no more spacers or specialised expensive welding and modifications are necessary, to make 4500 Dominator carburettors, fit Windsor motors.
The 3.0 Commander Windsor intake manifold, comes with an integral valley tray, and a water crossover – thermostat housing in the original factory position. The Commander 3.0 is designed to work best on engines making up to 700hp. The centre runners are 3.0" in area, whilst the front and rear runners measure 3.3" in the plenum.
Based on our successful 3V Cleveland Intake manifold that has annihilated the competition at the last two small block Engine Masters Competitions, the Commander 3.0 is designed to give you the most average torque and horsepower without sacrificing top end performance.
When you consider our manifolds were on 4 of the top 6 2006 Engine masters entires, including the winning engine, it's not hard to see why the 3.0 Commander Windsor Intake manifold is fast becoming the preferred choice of engine builders and enthusiasts alike.
The 3.0" Commander's intake ports are designed to work with Fel Pro intake gasket part # 1262
In order to make this manifold readily available to our US customers, the manufacturing and distribution of the 3.0" Commander is now being taken care of by World Products (631 981-1918). Teaming with World products ensures the 3.0" Commander available through all the popular US parts outlets like Jegs and Summit as well as direct from CHI.
For our Australian Customers the Commander 3.0" Windsor Intake Manifolds can be purchased either direct or through other World Products dealer outlets.
